The invoice will be a simple report which prints for just that extra charge.  You can choose to either just generate an invoice report which you could print or save, or you can also choose to save the resulting invoice as an attachment against the tenant automatically.  This way it will remain on record, and the tenant can view it online via their login.

New Feature - Taking photos with a webcam

Posted on August 6, 2013

It is now possible to take photos from a webcam attached to the computer running RentHQ, and have that uploaded to the web site automatically.

This applies to any item which allows attachments.  So that includes tenants, properties, owners, inspections and work orders.

This is great for anyone who uses a laptop or windows tablet to run RentHQ and it has a web cam and an internet connection.  You can take photos during inspections or take photos of the new tenants you just signed up or add photos to a work order job.

To take a photo go to the Attachments tab and choose the Take Photo button.  The resulting photo will be automatically added as an attachment when it is saved.  You can preview the photo and choose to retake it if you are not happy with it.
